it’s kind of ironic, but our academia has actually become an international hub for the Dunning-Kruger effect. the thing is—people go there, invest six figures into their future, do their 10,000 hours, live and work in that environment for 4 to 8 years…and so they also have Stockholm Syndrome to go with it. they feel like their duty to “due diligence” is been there done that. they want to believe they’re receiving the best education on Earth, when in reality they’re part of a highly cultivated program of indoctrination. do you see why this is so effective and also, potentially, so crippling to our potential?
it’s a hard-earned Dunning-Kruger, and thus passed off as expertise.
this has been true for a very long time, especially depending upon the institution, and it’s one reason why narratives got so twisted and skewed towards imperialism in the first place. they give you a few pieces of the puzzle and you put them together over and over again, on repeat, feeling like you see the bigger picture now.
only problem is, there’s a much bigger picture potentially: entire paradigm shifts, that you’ve dismissed as insignificant whispers in passing.
it was true of traditional European academics, and it’s still true of “revolutionary” modern black academics, queer academics, the acronym acrobatics, and the intersectional transhumanist feminists isms et al. too. i’m not disputing that you have a lot of knowledge, put a lot of work in, and (hopefully) employ a fair amount of wisdom to go along with it. what i take issue with is the historical plot holes and the esoteric pieces missing from your carefully constructed deconstructionist narratives.
have you ever heard the word “misconstrue”…? it uses that same root: construction. in fact, another translation of the word is “to lose the meaning of something in translation.” or: mis-translate.
if you don’t understand yet how this machine brainwashes you, and fills you up with pride and confidence in places where you needed humility, then boy, girl, y’all… i don’t know to tell you. either you’re playing dumb willfully and already know that what i’m saying is true, or you’re still caught up in the notion that YOU are the future, without actually taking responsibility for what that might mean.
�� it’s not about uncovering a few plot twists, it’s not about being woken up; it’s about waking up each and every single day to the true evolutionary work at hand. it’s about truly overcoming the ties that bind you to dishonesty, violation of the rights of others, abusive behaviors both conscious and unconscious, and self-sabotaging addictions—whether mental, physical, or spiritual. ��
you call yourselves freedom fighters, defenders of liberty and justice for all, but you seek to keep our collective consciousness chained up alongside your own?
that, i do take issue with. and you should too.
become conscious, become self-aware, moment to moment, and you will realize that the only constant in life is… change. ✨
